Chiropractic Care

Unlike conventional medicine, which centers on attempting to treat disease once it occurs, we at Focus Chiropractic emphasize improving your health in an effort to reduce the risk of pain and illness in the first place.

Most people would rather be healthy and avoid illness if they could. People are slowly recognizing the benefit of seeking an alternative to traditional medicine, one that will help them achieve and maintain optimal health.

We don’t treat symptoms but focus on the root of your complaints. We take a personalized look at you: the patient, your lifestyle, and your overall health. We don’t believe in a quick superficial fix. So many facets of your life can get in the way of your body functioning optimally, like stress, environmental, mental issues, work, and personal life. That is why we at Focus Chiropractic look at you as an individual and take our time figuring out what helps you best. There is no ‘one size fits all.’

Chiropractic care is a natural, non-invasive remedy for preventing and treating misalignments and successfully alleviating several pain-related issues. Our specialists’ therapies, alongside spinal manipulation techniques, help you understand the possible causes of your pain and experience the best outcomes on an ongoing basis.

Where is your pain?

We look into the area where your pain is, but you might be surprised when we start adjusting/treating a different area in your body. We know that most of the problems in your body find their origin in your spinal cord.

Your spinal cord runs from your brain down to your pelvis. Your brain sends signals to the rest of your body through the spinal cord. You go through most of your motions without even giving it a second thought, but all these movements are regulated by the brain and sent down the spinal cord.

The spinal cord is a vital part of your body, which is why your skull protects your brain. Your vertebras protect the spinal cord itself. When vertebras are misaligned,  pushing on a nerve or blocking the signals from your brain to your body, this can cause obstructions.

Your body is smart, so it will find ways to communicate differently but less optimally. Over time you will feel that the body has to work harder for daily tasks, and you begin to experience pain. Pain is the last symptom of your body telling you; Hey, this is not good; help me.
